Vietnam's Coffee Exports Projected to Reach $6 Billion
The General Department of Customs reported that Vietnam's coffee exports in January 2025 reached approximately 140,000 tons with a value of $763 million. Due to high demand, domestic coffee prices have risen since the beginning of 2025. Vietnam remains the world's leading Robusta coffee supplier, benefiting from Brazil's declining production due to unfavorable weather. This favorable market position, coupled with increasing global consumption, is projected to boost Vietnam's coffee export value to $6 billion, potentially even $7 billion, in 2025. The Vietnam Coffee-Cocoa Association recommends that businesses strengthen links with farmers to ensure high-quality and sustainable production for the growing export market.
