Vietnamese Agricultural Products Have Room for Growth in India
Vietnam's trade relationship with India is booming, with bilateral trade reaching nearly $15 billion in 2024. While Vietnam enjoys a trade surplus thanks to strong exports of electronics and machinery, agricultural products also contributed significantly. Exports of Vietnamese agricultural products like pepper and wood products saw substantial growth in the Indian market, increasing by 9.3% and 18% respectively. Coffee exports, while stable at $38.83 million, highlight the potential for further expansion in this sector. This positive trend indicates a growing demand for Vietnamese fresh fruit and other agricultural goods in India, offering significant opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural exporters.
