Vietnam Live Pig Prices Rise for Fifth Consecutive Day
Vietnam's live pig market saw price increases for the fifth day in a row on February 8, 2025. The northern region saw prices reach a high of 71,000 VND/kg in Hanoi and Bac Giang, while other localities ranged from 68,000 to 70,000 VND/kg. Central and Central Highlands regions saw similar increases, with prices ranging from 67,000 to 71,000 VND/kg. In the south, prices reached up to 72,000 VND/kg in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, with most other areas trading between 69,000 and 71,000 VND/kg. This consistent price increase reflects a positive trend for pig farmers across Vietnam.
