Tuyen Quang Province's Agricultural Production Value Sees 4% Increase
Tuyen Quang province's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development reported a 4.1% increase in agricultural production value in 2024, reaching over 11.252 trillion VND. The province focused on expanding VietGAP certified cultivation areas to 4,010 hectares and granted 29 new planting area codes. Success was also seen in the export of agricultural products to the UK, including six processed products and Soi Ha pomelos. For 2025, the province aims for a 5.36% increase in agricultural production value, targeting 11.855 trillion VND. Key initiatives include expanding high-tech applications in agriculture and developing large-scale commodity production of key agricultural products. The province also plans to plant 10,100 hectares of new forests and strives to have 94 communes meet new rural standards.
