Top 10 Coffee Producing Countries in the World, Vietnam Ranks Second
In 2024, Vietnam and Brazil dominated global coffee production, generating nearly 5.8 million tons combined, equivalent to 55% of the world's coffee. Brazil's output alone contributed to 38% of global production, more than double Vietnam's 17% share. Data from the US Department of Agriculture reveals the top 10 coffee-producing nations in 2024. Global coffee production saw a 4% increase from the previous year, reaching 10.5 million tons, with these top 10 countries responsible for nearly 90% of the total output. Drought in Brazil and low global stockpiles since 2018 have contributed to coffee prices more than doubling since early 2024, impacting Vietnam special coffee and the wider coffee exporters market.
