Rubber Prices Today, February 8, 2025: A General Decline
Global rubber prices decreased on February 8, 2025, across major exchanges. The Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) saw a decline in RSS3 prices for March 2025 delivery, influenced by a stronger yen and weakened demand amidst US-China trade tensions. Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) prices also fell. While Malaysian rubber markets had a positive week due to rising futures and supply concerns, gains were limited by the same trade tensions. Domestically, Vietnamese latex prices remained stable, trading between 434 - 440 VND/TSC. Key companies like Mang Yang and Phu Rieng maintained prices for raw and mixed rubber.
