Rubber Prices Today, February 11, 2025: Market Fluctuates Slightly
Global rubber prices experienced minor fluctuations on February 11, 2025. Key markets like TOCOM and SHFE saw slight increases. TOCOM's RSS3 March 2025 contracts held steady at 372.60 yen/kg, while May contracts rose slightly. SHFE's March and May contracts also increased. Despite a recent dip in the Japanese market due to trade concerns, rising oil prices helped stabilize rubber prices. Yokohama TWS, a subsidiary of Yokohama Rubber Company, announced a new center in Istanbul to expand its global reach, particularly targeting the agricultural sector in Turkey and surrounding regions. This move aims to improve delivery times and cater to the growing demand for off-the-road tires used in agriculture. Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., a leading global tire and rubber material manufacturer, emphasized the strategic importance of Turkey in the agricultural market. Domestically, Vietnamese raw rubber prices remained stable, trading between 434 - 440 VND/TSC. Major rubber companies like Mang Yang, Ba Ria, and Phu Rieng reported consistent prices for both raw material and lump rubber.
