Rubber Prices Today, February 10, 2025: No New Changes
Global rubber prices showed no fluctuation on February 10, 2025. Both the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) reported stable prices for March and May 2025 contracts. This stability follows a week of mixed global market activity, including a significant drop on the Tokyo exchange and a substantial rise on the Shanghai exchange. Malaysian rubber markets saw gains, influenced by increased Shanghai futures contracts and concerns over potential supply shortages due to heavy rain in key producing regions. However, US-China trade tensions and uncertainty surrounding US policies tempered these gains. Domestically, rubber prices also remained unchanged. Latex prices hovered between 434 - 440 VND/TSC. Several major Vietnamese rubber companies, including Mang Yang, Ba Ria, and Phu Rieng, reported consistent prices for various rubber types, including raw material, mixed lump, and latex.
