Phu Yen Seeks Support for Sustainable Aquaculture Development Projects
Phu Yen province is prioritizing the restructuring of its agricultural sector, focusing on sustainable aquaculture development. In 2024, the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector exceeded growth targets, contributing significantly to the province's economy. The province has focused on high-value fruit trees, establishing export growing areas and durian packing facilities for export. To further enhance the fishery sector, Phu Yen seeks government support for the High-Tech Aquaculture Zone Project and the Dong Tac Fishing Port Upgrade Project. These projects aim to modernize infrastructure and boost production, aligning with the province's commitment to sustainable agriculture practices.
