Pepper Prices Today, February 15, 2025: Continue Sharp Decline
Global pepper prices saw a slight increase in Indonesia on February 15th, with black pepper in Lampung rising to 7,294 USD/ton and white pepper in Muntok reaching 10,068 USD/ton. Vietnam's black pepper export prices decreased to 6,500 USD/ton for the 500 g/l type and 6,650 USD/ton for the 550 g/l type. White pepper exports were priced at 9,550 USD/ton. Indonesia's 2024 pepper exports totaled 55,475 tons, solidifying its position as the third largest global exporter. Domestically, pepper prices continued their decline, with prices in most regions decreasing by 1,000-2,000 VND. Prices remained stable in Dak Lak and Dak Nong at 160,000 VND/kg, while other areas saw prices as low as 157,000 VND/kg.
