Pepper Price Today, February 7, 2025: Continues to Increase Sharply
Globally, pepper prices saw a significant increase in Brazil on February 7, 2025, while remaining stable in other regions. Vietnam's black pepper and white pepper export prices decreased. Domestically, prices continued to climb, with increases of 1,000 - 2,000 VND per kg, reaching highs of 153,000 VND per kg in several provinces. This surge follows a Lunar New Year holiday that saw decreased pepper exports and imports. Vietnam exported 13,085 tons of pepper in January 2025, a decrease compared to December 2024 and January 2024. The United States remained the largest export market. Pepper imports also decreased in January 2025, primarily from Indonesia.
