Pepper Price Today, February 20, 2025: Market Stable
Global pepper prices remained stable on February 20, 2025. Vietnamese black pepper export prices saw a decrease, with 500 g/l at USD 6,500/ton and 550 g/l at USD 6,650/ton. White pepper held at USD 9,550/ton. Indonesian and Malaysian pepper prices remained unchanged. Domestically, Vietnamese pepper prices held steady in the 160,000 - 162,500 VND/kg range. According to market expert Mr. Yii, this stability follows a period of price volatility in 2024 driven by global supply concerns and panic buying. While prices have since adjusted, the current market suggests continued high prices for pepper in 2025.
