Pepper Price Today, February 13, 2025: Domestic Prices Decrease, Global Prices Stable
Domestic pepper prices decreased by 2,000 - 2,500 VND/kg on February 13, 2025, ranging from 159,000 to 160,000 VND/kg. Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces recorded the highest prices at 160,000 VND/kg. This decrease is attributed to new harvest supply entering the market. Key growing regions like Gia Lai, Binh Phuoc, and Dong Nai saw prices drop to 159,000 VND/kg. Despite this decrease, experts predict a positive long-term trend due to strong global demand, particularly from China, the US, and the EU. Global pepper prices remained stable, with minor decreases for Indonesian black and white pepper. Vietnam's export prices held steady, reinforcing its position as a leading global exporter. While the recent domestic price drop is attributed to increased supply, the long-term outlook remains positive due to consistent international demand and potential supply limitations.
