Organic Agriculture: A View from Vinh Phuc
Vinh Phuc province has been a pioneer in Vietnam in developing organic agriculture. Since 2019, the province has actively supported farmers transitioning to organic practices by providing financial aid for organic fertilizers, pesticides, and training. This support has led to the establishment of numerous organic agriculture models, including a safe vegetable production area spanning over 4,800 hectares. Success stories like Mr. Nguyen Van Mai's integrated farm demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of organic farming, with his farm generating around 300 million VND annually. Vinh Phuc province continues to invest in organic agriculture, with a budget exceeding 46 billion VND allocated for 2025 to expand organic farming practices and increase production of various organic products.
