Organic Agricultural Products in Tuyen Quang Achieve OCOP Standards
Tuyen Quang province boasts 39 out of 240 OCOP products achieving the prestigious 4-star rating. These products, adhering to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), easily access supermarkets and e-commerce platforms. Notably, many raw material sources for these products meet organic standards and possess planting area codes, simplifying export procedures. Son Tra Cooperative's Shan Tuyet tea, grown across 130 hectares, exemplifies this success. With 21 hectares organically certified and granted export codes for the European market, the cooperative aims for a 5-star OCOP rating. This achievement underscores the cooperative's commitment to expanding production and infrastructure while preserving the traditional methods of the Mong and Dao people. Similarly, Dong Loc Forestry and Agriculture Cooperative's 4-star Chiem Hoa Banh Gai demonstrates excellence. Utilizing locally sourced ingredients and traditional recipes, the cooperative maintains high quality through ISO 22000:2018 certification. Tuyen Quang province actively supports these endeavors by fostering production linkages between farmers, cooperatives, and businesses, ultimately enhancing product quality and market access for agricultural products.
