New Zealand Supports Indian Kiwifruit Development
A delegation from India's Nagaland state recently visited New Zealand to learn about advanced kiwifruit cultivation and export procedures. The group, comprised of horticulture officials, spent four days in New Zealand, collaborating with Zespri International and other key stakeholders in the kiwifruit industry. The visit included tours of orchards, packhouses, and nurseries, providing insights into best practices for growing, handling, and exporting high-quality kiwifruit. This collaboration aims to enhance India's kiwifruit production, particularly in Nagaland, the country's second-largest producer. By sharing expertise and technology, the initiative seeks to boost economic growth and improve the livelihoods of Indian farmers.
