Live Pig Prices Today, February 22, 2025: Sharp Increase of 3,000 VND in Some Regions

Vietnam's Northern live pig market saw slight price increases in some areas on February 22, 2025. Prices in Phu Tho and Ha Nam increased by 1,000 VND to 72,000 VND/kg, matching prices in several other provinces. Lao Cai and Nam Dinh maintained the lowest regional price at 70,000 VND/kg. The Central and Highlands region experienced more significant increases, with Hue and Ninh Thuan rising by 2,000 VND. Lam Dong reached the highest regional price at 75,000 VND/kg after a 1,000 VND increase. In the Southern region, Can Tho saw a substantial 3,000 VND increase, reaching a nationwide high of 76,000 VND/kg. Several other provinces in the South also experienced 2,000 VND increases.
