Live Pig Prices Today, February 15th, 2025: Increase of 2,000 VND in Some Regions
Vietnam's live pig market saw price fluctuations on February 15th, 2025. Northern regions remained largely stable, with prices ranging from 70,000 to 72,000 VND/kg. Bac Giang and Phu Tho recorded the highest price at 72,000 VND/kg, while several provinces including Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, and Ninh Binh saw the lowest price at 70,000 VND/kg. The Central and Central Highlands regions experienced increases, with Dak Lak rising by 2,000 VND to 70,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong and Binh Thuan maintained the highest regional price at 72,000 VND/kg. Several other localities in this region saw a 1,000 VND increase, bringing prices to 69,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Southern Vietnam witnessed the most significant increases, with some areas rising by 2,000 VND. Vung Tau, Can Tho, and Ca Mau reached 73,000 VND/kg. Long An and Vinh Long also saw a 2,000 VND jump to 72,000 VND/kg. Other provinces in the South experienced a 1,000 VND increase, settling between 71,000 and 72,000 VND/kg.
