Held in conjunction with Fruit Logistica, the summit provided a platform for global fresh fruit industry leaders to discuss significant business challenges and opportunities. The dynamic nature of the industry presents a constant stream of evolving issues, making collaborative events like this crucial for open dialogue and idea-sharing among executives. This year's agenda included an update on IFPA's Strategic Plan and explored strengthening supplier-buyer relationships to meet changing sustainability standards. Panelists from organizations like the Consumer Goods Forum, Albertsons, Naturipe, and the International Seed Federation contributed their expertise. Attendees also gained insights into the economic landscape of the fruit, vegetable, and floral sectors from Rabobank expert Cindy Van Rijswick. An advocacy panel featuring IFPA Board Members fostered a collaborative discussion on amplifying industry voices. The summit emphasized the industry's capacity for innovation and its commitment to providing consumers with safe, sustainable, and nutritious food.
