Hydroponic Farm Employs Israel's Most Advanced Technology
In 2016, 188 Construction Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company invested in building a high-tech agricultural model called "188 Green farm." The company constructed 12 greenhouses covering 1.5 hectares for hydroponic cultivation of various vegetables and fresh fruit, along with 1 hectare for soil-based cultivation. The initial total investment was 15 billion VND. Mr. Phan Minh Hieu, Deputy Director of the company, stated that 188 Green farm uses advanced recirculating hydroponics, the most advanced hydroponic technology from Israel and the Netherlands. Plants are grown in greenhouses, creating a safe and optimal environment for growth and development, virtually free from pests and diseases. The plants receive nutrients from a recirculating water stream, ensuring products are safe for consumers. The nutrient formula is calculated based on analysis of water, soil, and substrate samples to meet the plants' needs. This technique avoids toxins from chemicals and polluted water sources. The soil used for safe vegetable production is free from industrial waste and harmful chemicals. The nutrient solution for irrigation is derived from the recirculating hydroponic system. Seeds are selected from reputable sources. 188 Green farm produces various lettuces, spinach, mustard greens, and other vegetables, along with fruits like cucumbers, melons, and tomatoes. The main market includes restaurants, hotels, stores, schools, factories, and supermarket systems.
