Hai Phong Revises Rural Development Resolution After Administrative Reorganization
Hai Phong City is revising its rural development resolution due to changes in the number of communes following administrative reorganization. Originally, the 2021-2025 program aimed for 137 communes to achieve model new rural standards by 2025. However, reorganization reduced the number of communes to 77, alongside 29 new wards. This necessitates adjustments to the program's objectives and timelines. The revised resolution proposes that 100% of the remaining communes meet model new rural criteria by 2025, with continued development in districts aiming for advanced new rural status. Budget allocations remain largely unchanged, with potential for adjustments based on available resources. The revisions aim to ensure the program aligns with both national standards and the city's evolving administrative structure, impacting agriculture in Vietnam and its agricultural products.
