This represents a significant increase of 1,000-2,000 VND/kg. Despite a Lunar New Year slowdown in January 2025, Vietnam exported 13,085 tons of pepper. While overall export volume decreased compared to December 2024 and January 2024, exports to Germany, Europe's largest economy, saw a substantial 122% increase. The Vietnam Pepper Association (VPSA) reported strong export prices for both black and white pepper, exceeding 6,600 USD/ton and 8,400 USD/ton, respectively.
