Coffee Prices Today, February 9th, 2025: Domestic Prices Continue to Rise This Week
Global coffee prices saw mixed trends on February 9th, 2025. Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange remained stable, while Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange saw no change. However, this week witnessed opposing trends, with Robusta prices declining due to selling pressure from Vietnam after the Lunar New Year holiday, and Arabica prices rising for 12 consecutive sessions due to limited supply and speculation. Vietnam's coffee exports in January 2025 increased slightly compared to December 2024 but were significantly lower than January 2024. Domestically, coffee prices remained stable today, ranging from 128,500 to 129,500 VND/kg. Prices increased by 500-700 VND this week. Concerns about Brazil's coffee production decrease and potential US trade tariffs contributed to market fluctuations.
