Coffee Prices Today, February 6, 2025: Market Soars
Global coffee markets witnessed a substantial price surge on February 6, 2025. Both London and New York exchanges recorded significant gains for both Arabica and Robusta coffee futures contracts. This surge marks the tenth consecutive day of price increases for Arabica, reaching a record high of nearly 4 USD/pound. Concerns over a supply shortage from Brazil, the world's leading coffee producer, are fueling this upward trend. Lower production forecasts for the upcoming Brazilian harvest further contribute to this price rally. Domestically, Vietnamese coffee prices also saw a notable increase of 1,200 VND, with prices ranging from 129,800 to 130,700 VND/kg across key growing regions like Lam Dong, Dak Lak, and Dak Nong.
