Coffee Prices Today, February 20, 2025: Arabica Rebounds Strongly
Global coffee prices saw increases on February 20, 2025. Arabica coffee prices in New York jumped significantly, with May 2025 delivery rising by 1.64% to 411.9 cents/lb. Robusta coffee on the London exchange saw more modest gains. Domestically, Vietnamese coffee prices rose by 1,500 VND, reaching between 132,200 and 133,500 VND/kg. A contributing factor to rising global prices is the reduced supply from Brazil, where a larger portion of the 2024/25 harvest has already been sold. Lower than average rainfall in Brazil has also fueled supply concerns. In Vietnam, increased demand from China contributed to the price increase, with Vietnam's coffee exports to China seeing significant growth in both volume and value in 2024.
