Coffee Prices Today, February 15, 2025: Arabica Takes a Sharp Downturn
Global coffee prices saw a significant drop on February 15, 2025. Arabica coffee on the New York exchange plunged over 4% due to profit-taking after a month-long rally. Robusta coffee on the London exchange also experienced a decrease. This downturn comes as Vietnam, a major coffee exporter, is in its dry season, awaiting the rainy season in April to stimulate flowering for the next harvest. Domestically, Vietnamese coffee prices decreased by 1,000 VND, settling in the 130,000 - 131,500 VND/kg range. Brazil, a key global coffee producer, anticipates favorable weather conditions in its Arabica growing regions before the dry winter months.
