Coffee Prices Today, February 14, 2025: Mixed Fluctuations
Global coffee markets saw mixed trends on February 14, 2025. Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange decreased slightly, while Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange increased. Concerns about global coffee supply contribute to price increases, as evidenced by Brazil's January coffee exports declining. Cecafe reported that Brazil's green coffee bean exports decreased by 3.8%, impacting global supply. The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) increased margin requirements for Arabica coffee futures contracts, further influencing market dynamics. Nestlé also announced potential price increases for coffee due to rising input costs. Domestically, Vietnamese coffee prices decreased by up to 1,000 VND/kg on February 14, 2025. Prices ranged from 131,000 VND/kg in Lam Dong province to 132,500 VND/kg in Dak Nong province. This decrease pushed prices below the 132,000 VND/kg threshold.
