Binh Thuan Guides Farmers in Pest and Disease Control for Crops
The Binh Thuan Sub-Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection reported that the province's total cultivated area for the 2024-2025 season has surpassed 90% of the planned target. The Sub-Department maintained vigilance during the Tet holiday, monitoring and reporting on crop pests and diseases. Increases in rice blast, stem borer, and dragon fruit diseases were observed compared to last year. To combat these issues, the Sub-Department urges farmers to regularly inspect their fields for early detection and treatment of dragon fruit, utilizing appropriate fungicides and pest control methods for various crops like rice and cassava.
