28 More Products Awarded 5-Star National OCOP Certification
The Central OCOP Product Evaluation and Ranking Council recently awarded 28 more products the prestigious 5-star National OCOP certification. Among these newly certified products are 21 food products, highlighting the strength of Vietnam's agricultural products. This recognition follows a national evaluation conference held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on January 16, 2025, where nearly 15,000 OCOP products were ranked three stars or higher. The awarded products demonstrate a commitment to quality and highlight local specialties, ranging from Dinh Tea from Thai Nguyen to freeze-dried durian from Vinh Long. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Tran Thanh Nam, emphasized the importance of utilizing local advantages, beautiful packaging, and incorporating cultural values into these products to further develop market opportunities, particularly in the global export market. He stressed the need for continued focus on product quality, origin traceability, and environmental protection to maintain consumer trust and ensure sustainable growth.
